Woman Facing Sunset

GENERATIONS ALIGNED

Your family is at
a threshold.

There's something your family has been reaching toward — maybe for years, maybe for generations.

More listening, more understanding, more patience. A different relationship with money, what it does, and what it doesn't do. A shift in the stories that get passed down, how they are told, and by whom.

In a world that feels increasingly fractured, the families who do this work are not just healing themselves — they are part of something larger.

A legacy that flowers rather than simply continues.

You feel a longing for something different — and it's growing more urgent.

The "way it's always been" leaves you hollow, frustrated, or quietly invisible.

You're done carrying it alone. You're ready for process, allies, and change.

You want a legacy of healing and transformation — not just wealth preservation.

We are not family therapists, corporate consultants, or crisis managers.
We support families as they cross thresholds
toward healthy, honest, relational power
and the kind of love that grows.

WHO WE SERVE

Threshold Families

Every voice matters.

We are drawn to families where something is longing to shift — where the old ways of relating, making decisions, and passing things forward no longer fit who the family is becoming.

Often it is a woman who first names this. Sometimes it is a builder reflecting deeply on his legacy. Other times it is a group of siblings, who need to untangle the family's knots in service to healing and legacy. Whoever first feels it, the work belongs to everyone.

"You have more wisdom than you've been allowed to use. More courage than you've yet had the chance to show."

You're accomplished, effective, respected. And you're sensing that what got you here might be part of what's holding your family back.

The urgency, the armor, the either/or thinking — you've used these fluently. They work. But somewhere inside, they give you pause. You've glimpsed a different way of leading: honest, relational, powerful without the cost to conscience. You're ready to be that person all the time.

You've always felt a gap in the way your family operates. You've been carrying that knowing for years — sometimes quietly, sometimes not.

Whether you've been silent or vocal — you know the old ways of relating aren't serving your family or yourself. You have language for parts of it. You're missing a process, a clear way forward to change. But you're done waiting.

You built something real and lasting. Now you wonder: what is it for? And how do you release it without losing what made it strong?

The next chapter of your family's story may require something different from you. Not less strength — different strength. You're open to that, even if you're not sure what it looks like. That openness is exactly where this work begins.

Something important is stuck.

A sibling rift that's lasted years. A business transition that keeps stalling. A decision everyone needs to make but no one can agree on.

You know that pushing harder won't resolve it — but you don't know what will. This is exactly where we begin.

HOW WE BEGIN

The Discovery & Understanding Process

Clarity before commitment. Every voice heard. One shared map forward. This is how every Generations Aligned engagement begins — and for many families, it is the most transformative work we do together.

A complete, standalone offering — and the recommended entry point for all deeper work.

01

Clarify a Core Question

We begin by naming the central question your family most needs to resolve. Rather than tackle every unresolved tension, we focus — ensuring what follows illuminates root dynamics rather than surface symptoms.

02

Listening and Understanding

Confidential one-on-one conversations with each family member — not interviews in the conventional sense, but invitations. Each person given unhurried space to share their experience, hopes, and fears in their own voice, without judgment or agenda.

03

Family Landscape Analysis

A comprehensive, bespoke map of your family's dynamics, patterns, and possibilities. Not a diagnosis — a shared mirror. Families consistently describe this as the moment things finally made sense: when years of complexity became legible, and a way forward became visible.

04

Recommendations and Next Steps

Tailored recommendations designed for your family's specific situation, values, and goals — practical, grounded, designed to build capacity within your family rather than create dependence on outside resources.

05

Your Path Forward

We present findings in a family dialogue — transparent, respectful, unhurried. You ask questions. We listen. You choose whether and how to move forward. There is no pressure. This is your process. We are your guides.

HOW WE HELP

Three pathways.
Wherever your family stands.

Each is a complete offering. Together they form a coherent journey — from individual awakening to family transformation. Every path begins with a conversation.

The Inner Threshold

For the individual who knows something essential needs to shift

This is the work that begins with you. Something is asking you to grow — to become more, or different, or perhaps less in some way. Understanding how internalized patterns — perfectionism, conflict avoidance, urgency, over-responsibility — shape your behavior. Naming your Core Question. Taking at least one breakthrough action that changes your pattern, not just your circumstances.

The Family Threshold

For families ready to resolve a specific issue with clarity and care

A property decision, a succession, a sibling rift, a marriage under strain. You know that business as usual won't resolve it — but you want a path that preserves relationships. Structured exploration that gives every voice a hearing and produces a way forward your family feels genuinely good about.

The Living Legacy

For families ready to build something genuinely new

Not just from conflict to resolution — from management and control to a living family culture of honest power, shared leadership, and lasting impact. For families ready to create a legacy that heals as well as endures, across generations.

Each path begins with a conversation.

Your attorneys, financial planners, and advisors have done their work well. The plan is solid. And yet — something is in the way.

Trust has eroded. Conversations keep going sideways.
Relationships need healing before decisions can be made.
This is where we come in.

We work alongside your existing advisors, handling the human side so the technical side can finally move forward.

HOW WE HELP

Guides who have crossed
their own thresholds.

Polina Crotty

CO-FOUNDER AND LEAD FAMILY ADVISOR

Polina is a Professional Co-Active Coach with twenty years experience as a Certified Financial Planner™ in the fiduciary area of the wealth management field. Polina’s work is greatly influenced by her training in Compassionate Inquiry™ - methodology developed by Dr. Gabor Mate, as well as the Family Constellation framework - a systemic approach which uncovers deep seated patterns and limitations and creates forward movement in individuals, families and organizations.

Polina immigrated with her family at age 13 as Jewish refugees to the USA from Taganrog, Russia, a city just an hour east of the Ukrainian border, at the time of the Soviet Union collapse. The experiences of straddling two cultures, of having roots in countries that are now at conflict with one another, and of seeing families starting over greatly inform how she holds the clients’ stories, histories, and movement towards their visions and dreams.

Polina is a long standing practitioner of mindfulness practices, lover of nature, photography and poetry. Graduate of Wesleyan University, she enjoys continued learning, co-creating and collaborating with professionals, artists, healers and visionaries to promote a deep sense of belonging and integrated wholeness.

Polina and her husband Tim are living in and restoring a 1700s home in Granby, CT, watching their three children grow and blossom, and as often as possible sharing a sunrise or a sunset with them.
